ABOUT SWAT

SWAT is based in Durban, Kwazulu Natal and boasts the most amount of Riot Control Armoured Vehicles in KZN & possibly South Africa. Our use of Crowd Control Equipment is equivalent to the SA Police & Public Order Unit combined. Our Information gathering is done by a special investigation team & with the aid of Informers, CCTV, Video, Drones, VOCC / JOCC Venue / Joint Operational Command Centre. Water Cannon and Fire Fighting Team for Desperate Measures. We can accommodate up to 5 ambulances in the first 15 minutes thereafter unlimited medical response.

OUR APPROACH

Civil unrest can seemingly happen anywhere, at any time, and peaceful environments can erupt suddenly into widespread and often sustained riots. Organised or unorganised, triggered by domestic extremism, sentiments or ideology, riots are never mindless violence. It holds the potential to flare up and escalate quickly, get out of hand, turn violent with casualties, and damage infrastructure and property. We approach this situation from a no nonsense stance and react with urgency to put a stop to all threats seen and unseen.

BEING READY

Our Director Glen Naidoo has spent many years in Government tactical forces and dealing with riot control. Our team is fully equipped to handle the most disastrous situation. We have vehicles and firearms that can push back and cause mass crowds to retract from area penetration and mass looting. Most areas in KZN and around SA are easily targeted as they are ill equipped for these types of situations. We work together with local SAPS and Security companies to overcome these attacks.
